2027 Private Capital Advisory & Fundraising: Private Funds Group Summer Analyst Program - New York
Evercore's Private Funds Group ("PFG") provides comprehensive, global advisory services on capital raising for private fund sponsors. PFG's clients include investment firms pursuing a spectrum of investment strategies including private equity, private credit, and infrastructure / real assets. PFG is recognized as one of the leading groups in primary capital advisory and placement.
The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to provide a highly motivated undergraduate with a representative experience of a PFG analyst. PFG is seeking intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.
Interested candidates will need to rank which vertical within PFG they would like to focus on. Please see the options below:
• GP Advisory: This summer analyst will work with our GP Advisory team on providing strategic advisory and execution services to private fund managers across all aspects of the fundraising process, including competitive positioning and market assessment, preparation of marketing materials, execution of diligence requests and effective client reporting.
• LP Distribution: This summer analyst will support distribution professionals in managing LP relationships and executing fundraises across our platform. The summer analyst will assist with ad hoc LP requests, LP Market Mapping, creating and updating PFG's internal and external documentation, including GP overviews, prep notes and internal tracking.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
• Strong quantitative skills and acute attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation and must be able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace
• Private equity fundraising experience is not necessary, but candidate must be enthusiastic about the private equity industry and demonstrate a capacity to learn quickly
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character
